these aches at night deprive me of my sleep. dreams are the silver lining in life and the only thing i could ever look forward to. when my head hits that pillow, my whole body sighs. exhaustion from heartbreaks and disappointments are consuming my life. tearing my soul limb from limb. i’m crying out because you don’t even care anymore. my life has become a depressing indie song and the only thing keeping me sane are my friends. but even my friends can’t keep these willowing thoughts away. i want normalcy again. why did you have to come into my life so willingly, and just as willingly, leave? i guess i finally realized i really do have to stay away from you. but you’re nothing to ignore. you’re a fucking dream. i’m trying, i really am. but every time you slip from my mind, you come right back like a boomerang. what will i ever do? i’m tired of this hollow feeling in my chest. i’m tired of this gloom and i’m only trying to find my way back through these clouds of heartache because all i want and will ever want is you. but you’re poison to my soul. you creep in and take all that belongs to you because everything i consist of and made of all belongs to you. you have my heart and soul. i entrusted it all to you. but i guess you don’t want it anymore and nobody ever told me that there isn’t a return policy for giving away your heart. they always told me to be careful; i guess this is me giving up.
